I mean, option one sounds less hassle to me, but if you have the time, do what pleases you the most! Personally, I think there is very little of 2oFB experience I am missing out on right now. A few weird things are being screwy, but mTelnet can handle standard ANSI emulation, animated ANSI, it's just weird totally non-standard stuff that's going to throw it, and anything like that is not why I connect to a BBS anyway! Those things are novelties at best. I have the Internet for all my whiz-bang graphical goodness I figure.
