If someone isn't a big fan of MacOS though, I wonder if it would make sense (or if it's even feasible) to install another OS on them, such as a Linux distro? I just did a quick search online for whether you can install Linux on a M4 Mac, and it sounds like only a couple distros support M* Macs currently, and it sounds like you'd end up with a dual-boot setup, rather than the whole drive being Linux. I feel like it's hard to want to buy an Apple system, because Apple does things to make you do things their way; it can be difficult to do certain things with their machines/devices.
