The docs here tend not to want to prescribe benzos, so Temazepam has become hard to get a hold of, while they'll just about hand out packs of Melatonin. If you need a sledgehammer to change your sleeping patterns I would back in Temaz. My sleep patterns used to be all over the place from a combo of back pain + pain relief for the same. A couple of days of Temaz would beat it back into something normal until it drifted off again over time. There does seem to be some odd interactions out there. I know someone that is inclined to take anything he can get his hands on. Over a period of time I've no idea what he's taken, but it seems to have stopped Temaz working on him after being prescribed for sleep issues.
