Yeah, even starting late in life, with my first marriage we would have
paid off the house before we retired. Then came a HELOC for home
improvement, a divorce, two attorneys and I started over buying 20 years
later. The only way I could pay this off in its entirety without selling
would be to work until I'm 80.

Then I'll have to take out a second mortgage to pay for the cybernetics
to keep working, which would extend my mortgage even more...
