To be completely honest, I don't care what their excuse is. McCorp is a multi-billion (or trillion maybe?) dollar company. They could pay someone to invent an ice cream machine that actually works.

I've heard about this. However, I wasn't aware there was a law suit because of it. What in the world would they sue for, defamation of character or something stupid like that?

They could have done a hell of a lot more over the years than just tell people their ice cream machine is down, all of the time. :)
