If you do a web search for "Breakfast Station" you'll see what I was
talking about.

Aside: Another piece of kitsch I would love is a Teasmade. It's an old
bakelite looking nightstand alarm clock with a built in kettle and
light. Put it on your nightstand, the alarm goes off, the light goes on
and it starts brewing a pot of tea. I wondered about the milk/sugar,
apparently people buy those little UHP cream pots that don't need
refrigeration and put them in the drawer.
