I love watching history cooking videos on YouTube; one series was a man
who ate on a UK rationed WW II diet. Part of the ration for the week was
2 pounds (!) of powdered eggs, about the size of a gallon ZipLoc bag. No
wonder omelettes are such a thing around there...   :)
