I must sheepishly admit it is a combination of Y2K stuff and my own broken setup.  The door not loading is my own fault, but even when it did load it didn't seem to work properly because of Y2K stuff.  I kind of forgot about it and now it's 'there but not working at all'.  :(

I wonder how hard it would be to patch Silver Xpress for Y2K compliance - I've never done a patch like that before.  But so many other things have been successfully patched, it seems like it should be possible.
