My nas is making a knocking noise every 5 seconds. Sounds like the knock of doom for a hard drive. And, now it stopped.

I have no hot spares but a couple of drives I can swap in if needed. Now's just the time to wait for the drive to fail. SMART looks good on all of them.

I'm sure some of you know my pain...
