I had to get the right USB to SATA cable that I could find would work with the Pi. I can dig back and let you know that model/brand if you like. I then had to download and install a boot loader flash tool that set the Pi to try booting off USB first then SD card next. Lastly I then needed to run the OS install process with the SSD card. That's where I have landed so far. The next thing is what to use it for, I have a number of ideas but would like to make it more than a uni-tasker.
