I was brought up summers in the Burlingame area, some 30-40 years ago. Rest of the year I was in Wisconsin. I remember at times it was "chilly" at best, but not what I would consider cold by any means. I also don't remember it getting all that blazing hot either. Whereas, Wisconsin can go anywhere from -30F up to 100F or so. It's still a shock and I've been here over 40 years.
