You never know what will be needed, so it's always good to have multiple tools
in your toolbox.

I know more than a few people who made out really good in 1998/1999 fixing Y2K
bugs in COBOL programs.  Of course, they were let go in 2000 when everything
was working.  But by then, they had the money to take time off and get trained
in something else.
