And you're not wrong! Lol. Especially in the "sunset" district, where I don't think I ever saw the sun actually set.

I lived in Pacifica on a cliff overlooking the ocean. It was gorgeous but super foggy and always doing the spitty-rain thing. Nice days were amazing but man, it was usually chilly!

I remember seeing some kids on a bus trip from some random spot arrive in San Francisco. They were dressed for the beach, and they assumed California = Sun/Beach. Boy were they surprised.

Anywho I moved to SoCal a number of months ago and I much prefer the weather here :P
