Sounds nice, I'm working up to and including the Friday before Christmas but then hope to take a couple of weeks off before heading back. Mostly hanging out at home and some day trips planned.

Sorry to hear, my youngest son is now living a plan flight away at the other end of the country and won't be home this Christmas ... but Facetime (or similar) would be a good option for us on the day.

Man I like your Christmas :) Mine is having our kids and their partners over for a relaxed summer BBQ / lunch... people can drift in/out as the see fit.

I know this feeling :)

I'm counting down days where I don't need to be out the door first thing in the morning. The irony is I'll still likely be up and out helping my daughter out as 'Dads Taxi' for some of the holiday season helping her get to work on time as she has earlier starts and the public transport she uses has a lousy holiday timetable.
