Hope the same for you! We recently had a double whammy of bad news. First we found out our 16 year old dog has lymphoma, so we're dealing with that. Plus, I got laid off. Fortunately I have some reserve money in the bank so I'm treating this like a sabbatical and taking time to relax.

Awesome. I feel like my wife and I should explore and go out a bit more where we live, because in a month we'll be moving. Right now we're near San Francisco, and in a month we'll be in Laguna Beach (south of LA, north of San Diego).

I'm...not excited about packing :P

Nice. I've been slacking on BBS stuff of late as I've been searching for a new job. Tech interviews are such a pain in the ass...I'm so sick of leetcode right now. But eventually the right role will present itself.
