I live on the California coast - I can see the Pacific Ocean out my
windows facing west. More snow that I could manage is available 4 hours
away near lake Tahoe - this winter we had 13-15 foot snowpacks.

This was the first year I hired a service to dig out my front door
before going up there, and it was heavenly being able to walk right in
without digging for a couple of hours at 7100 feet altitude.
