I agree it was the use of fiberglass... but what do I know, as a layman just repeating w0rds I've heard over the past week?? I think the true cause was exploration... the attempt to push boundaries, offer more access to somewhere humans were never intended to be... the allowance of capitalism to be the driving factor in getting those humans to that place - we have went to the depths for decades... and safely - the Adam submarine has went down to the Titantic dozens of times; the russian submarine(s) have went dozens of times - but what the Titan, and Oceangate, did was to attempt to create more room for passengers without oversight and CERTIFICATION. For those explorers who choose to doso, great - but this is what happens sometimes. Thank god it was an implosion; because the Titan was NEVER going to be 'rescued'. There was NEVER going to be a reunification, or those 5 individuals to be hauled back to air from the depths - never. They would have died a slow, horrible, agonizing death; I'm glad that it was an implosion - and I think we should take a look at if we should allow Americans to explore in this way... there will always be some corporation that will do this work; I don't think it should be a company in America. |07p|15AULIE|1142|07o |08......... --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A48 (Linux/64) * Origin: 2o fOr beeRS bbs>>>20ForBeers.com:1337 (21:2/150) .
