It was and think about allllll those years of paying (nothing else was available in our area and now we have 2 fiber companies on my street and the cable company went to the city council to complain - but they had a monopoly and the city backed all us tax payers. 
AND
I had found out that alllllll these years, I thought I was paying for the 1G speeds but could only get 240bps on my game console downloads .. yeah! I wasn't paying for the 1G service, that would have been an additional $110+ per month.
