If you stay away from the network sysop and politics echos, it is not too bad.
The COOKING echo has a lot of friendly folks in it, so long as you try to
vaguely stay on topic (and set a filter for the alter-ego of one Swedish
sysop who sometimes spams the area).

But yeah you probably want to avoid all of the sysop and politics echos.
