Yeah, I don't think there's a big bootleg blu-ray market, but I think copying media is something the industry has always been nervous about. Also, there are some countries I've heard about that actually do have a big bootleg market (such as China) where it's common for people to buy and sell copied bootleg discs for movies, music, and computer software. Also as far as torrents, it seems there actually are some fairly good torrents out there. I'd think the audio quality should be pretty good, as a lot of audio is at least 5.1 channel. I've also heard of torrents that are ripped straight from the disc and not compressed so that you'd get the full audio and video quality (if you can find those). One issue I see is that there are multiple different streaming services available, and the subscription fees for each one would add up - If you have several of them, the total cost could be similar to a premium cable TV package.
