That _does_ sound pretty neat. And, to be fair, I'm biased in being in favor of getting rid of as many of those jobs as possible. But I literally work in automation. Hopefully your McMuffin ladies do okay, though. TG> haha that is how it always goes. Having a retail background when people TG> started saying how convenient self check out was, I just kept thinking TG> (it sure is convenient for the retailers bottom line for sure ..) I was TG> ok with it and actually did find it convenient, until my family grew to TG> 5. At that time, the small self check out counters became evil. haha! Yeah. Do always need to have a different set of solutions for a different set of problems. But if 90% of your customers are checking out a handful of items, self-check seems like it _should_ be more efficient. But, as you say, if I'm buying a ton of things, I know better than to do it at the self-checkout counter. Still, I like self-checkout stuff in general. If I have a dream job of some sort, it'd be in working with library self-checkout machines. But I have a history with those, too, where I customized ones at the library I worked at, making them an entertaining feature of the library. --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A47 2021/12/24 (Linux/64) * Origin: Storm BBS (21:2/108) .
