PC's don't *have* to be sold with MS software on them. It's the brand name
ones that have agreements in place.

The issue is avergae joe, who dosn't know better, plus a huge range of
software catters for that one company's offerings.

Just imagine if the likes of Commodore had survived and the Amiga range of
computers was still a huge thing and not retro like it is now....
