I'm not much of a gambler, but love museums and history like that! |11pF|09> |07 |11pF|09> |10It had been a long time since I stayed in a Vegas Casino, the price for|07 |11pF|09> |10food and sundries were absurd! $9 for a can of sparking water, or a|07 |11pF|09> |10bagel, or a beer?|07 Yeah, it's a racket. Last time I went in 2018 I ended up paying $28 for a drink -- one single, solitary drink. That was the first and last time that happened. From then on it was Walgreens and bottled water and soda. Vegas used to be where you could go have a good time, gamble if you wanted to, and it wasn't very expensive. Nowadays, they are like every other tourist trap in they want to extract the maximum $$$ from each person with very little in return. You can't even get a cheap meal there nowadays. |11pF|09> |10We did end up clearing $20 playing slot machines while waiting for a|07 |11pF|09> |10dinner reservation.|07 At least you walked away with something! |12DMX|09Rob|07 |11Off the Wall Since |14'88|07 Off the Wall / St. Peters, Missouri / Dialing since '88 --- WWIV 5.7.2.3552 * Origin: [ Off the Wall ] - St. Peters, MO USA (21:4/142) .
