I just got back from Las Vegas, took my daughter there to have a
treat during her break. We had a busy 3 days, went to a tour of Hoover
Dam, a tour of Red Rock (breathtaking desert and hills, just 20 minutes
away from Las Vegas.

We Saw two Cirque De Soleil shows - O, the water show, and LOVE, the
beatles musical - both were amazing.

I finally got the chance to go to the Neon Sign museum just outside of
the strip - lots of old Casino signs retained after the Casinos were
long gone.

It had been a long time since I stayed in a Vegas Casino, the price for
food and sundries were absurd! $9 for a can of sparking water, or a
bagel, or a beer?

On the casino floors, there are very few places to sit without spending
money! All of the chairs/benches are either at restaurants, at gambling
tables, or in front of slot machines.

Thankfully, we don't take trips like this often.

We did end up clearing $20 playing slot machines while waiting for a
dinner reservation.

My dogs were boarded at a kennel and were *glad* to be back home. They
slept most of the day yesterday. We're glad to be in a smoke-free
habitat again.
