See, this is where I got mixed up -- I thought New Zealand started about as far south as, oh, New York is, north, if not closer to the pole. But it's more like starting at North Carolina and going to Maine. And, yeah, while New York is getting into the, "it turns into a post-tropical storm up there" zone, North Carolina gets hit by hurricanes often enough, even if it's not Florida.
