The analog units caused you to have to think about the photo when snapping it. Todays digital units decide everything for you. That can be a good thing, but can also be a bad thing creatively. When I use my AT1, the film decides the ISO, I decide the aperture and speed. Yeah, my Nikon D5600 can adjust the ISO to 32000 and the Canon AT1 is limited by the film ISO. I always liked the creativity of the manual system. But again, I didn't like paying to develop all the mistakes with the good shots. Cougar ....
