I always think that it was before its time. I remember Sony Pictures
having a presence on SL and having a movie premiere. You had to queue in
SL and give a virtual attendant your "ticket". Seemed like trying to map
the real world into a virtual world instead of creating a new experience
impossible in the physical world.

Last time I tried it was on a Pentium 166 on a DSL line. I should try it
now with a contemporary desktop and fast internet.
