Yes she's settled in but in declining health, just assessed as needing a higher level of care than when first admitted. It's the sad truth there's only one pathway she's on, just not sure how long it is. 

It's Christmas Day as I write and I was lucky enough to get a short FaceTime with her today which was nice. It's my Dad I kinda of feel more for as he's quite adrift and struggling a bit to cope. I'm calling him most days to offer a chat and moral support. I live 2 x air flights away from him so it's all I can really do at this stage.
