I was in London in 1999 and was shocked to walk into a pub and see almost 
everyone drinking Budweiser. I went ahead and ordered a hand-pulled pint of 
bitters and looked at my co-worker's bottle. The label said Budsweiser, but 
the fine print said "Brewed by Watney's in London".
