Welcome to the community.
I will have to check out that book.  Out of curiosity which software did you find to use?  Which BBSes have you visited?  

Friday's theres a meet up online using the MRC Chat.  Many of the BBSes have this there's bullitens for them on most places with the details.  Come say hi to the rest of the community.  We chat listen to old school mod music and check out ANSI art.
