So true. My first experiences with virtualization was running VMWare 
Workstation, and being able to take a VM snapshot before upgrades and on a 
weekly basis made things easier.

I haven't tried PBS, but I'm backing up using the built-in Proxmox backup 
tool to an external drive, as well as dumping the BBS directory to an 
external on a regular basis.
