Ah, interesting.  I looked it up and I see it runs Android.  I'd heard of the Nvidia Shield but I didn't really know much about it.  Sony tried something like that once (with their NSZ-GT1) - They had an Android TV-based smart blu-ray player that had a remote control shaped like a game controller, since they wanted it to basically be a gaming platform too.
