Not sure, but I when I had (2) HDHomeRun Prime tuners (back when I had cable TV and cable cards), I used Windows Media Center as my DVR which could save to share locations.  

WMC could see the HDHomerun tuners on the network and I could schedule recordings and save them on shares.  I would then use another program to strip commercials and re-encode them to MKV files.

Speaking of saving shows, I just used Allavsoft to download all the series to several old TV shows from the 80s from both Tubi and Pluto TV.  This helps feed my data hoarding itch.
