Yeah the Tablo UI seems fairly decent. A bit sluggish at times on the Amazon
Fire sticks but that could be a number of things.

Well as I wrote elsewhere here, I'd love it if Tablo could store PVR 
recordings on an SMB/Samba share on my Nas drives instead of the flakey USB 
external thats on there now. Does HD-Homerun do that? I may be 
misunderstanding your explanation. I vaguely remember looking at Plex a long 
time ago but just settled for the VLC app. Its good enough for the moderate-
sized collection of goodies here.
