I ran Apache, Sendmail, Procmail and UW-IMAP for several years - mostly 
because I was consulting and using my home domain as a testbed. There was 
some fun in that, but when it comes to running obscure, complex, sometimes 
interoperable, some times not software, running a BBS ticks all those boxes.
