Yeah, C# development would probably rely on a Windows box for sure. My last company focused on Java, js, and some typical web dev stuff. My current company does python, c++, and typical web dev stuff. All of this can be easily accomplished on a Mac while also providing a platform that is reliable and can do all the other things any professional would need.
