I'm of the belief that most "youth" are severely impaired when it comes to reading. They're to busy busting out the slang, and for the most part comprehension skills seem to have fallen through the floor. Which is probably also an indictment of the teaching system. Not so sure you can blame the lot on Rupert. My first job was in a news agency, and even back then some 35 or more years ago, newspapers, specifically the Herald Sun were already in trouble.
