I still do a bit of "long form" messaging on phones, mostly on a couple of
websites.  It would be nice to have a more portable option for BBS messaging
than a laptop.

Me for one.  A mobile offline reader would fit the bill.  I did get Bluewave
working under DOSBox on an Android phone, but that was a pain to use on such a
small screen.
