Those of us running Synchronet have SMTP on our systems.  You can email me at
vk3jed@freeway.apana.org.au, and I can send an email from my BBS interface that
will come from that address.  I also turned on netmail to email forwarding, in
case someone sends me a netmail when I'm away from the BBS.
