So I have some questions. I've been delving into coms tech. FTN, USENET, 
UUCP, and IRC.
1. Is it possible to run FTN echomail with out needing a bbs or would 
nntp be better for this?
2. I noticed that on the fido.othernet there was a message about being a 
node on a net and it offers feeds over ftp could someone elaborate. on 
this a little bit more. I understand it for file bases but not in terms 
of message bases.
