In Spain they are deploying so-called smart counters, so they can drop you off
the grid anyway.

Still, even a solar system with no batteries would be dangerous for linesmen if
the linesmen grabbed the live wire in sun hours.

In any case, the kits I see deployed in Spain don't pour battery energy into
the grid. The whole point of batteries is to keep the power for yourself, not
to dump it into the grid. Dumping battery power into the grid is moronic.
