There's a Canadian talk show host I'd heard about named Rick Mercer.  He did some bits where he'd go around talking to Americans on the street (similar to Jay Leno's "Jaywalking" bit), and there was one where he got some people to think Canadian time was measuered a little differently than in the US, that Canadian minutes & hours were a different length than US minutes & hours.
