To : All From : Warpslide Date : Sat Jul 16 2022 08:54:30 A recent report out of Finland shows that Canadians pay some of the highest cell phone & home internet prices when compared to 40 other countries. 4G or 5G Plan w/ 1000 Minutes & 100GB of Data: Canada: $167 US: $87 Germany: $52 Japan: $31 UK: $22 France: $11 Italy: $10 https://youtu.be/nWjWx2Es9FQ It mentions in this video that Canadians pay nearly 120% more than Australians for cell phone & internet despite similar population sizes and geographic distribution. So my question for everyone here, how much do YOU pay for your cellphone and home internet? What do you get for those prices? For me, per month: Cell Phone: $55 for 20GB of data, unlimited Canada-wide minutes Home Internet (Cable): $112 for gigabit down & 30Mb up, unlimited usage Both prices are before taxes ($62.15 for cell after taxes, $126.55 for internet after taxes).
