So I use a mix of NextCloud and Syncthing. Syncthing hosts my dev code that I work on, specially when I'm switching between my iMac or my laptop. Its pretty fast are sharing data between my (3) machines that I sometimes switch between, and I've not had any troubles with sync. I use Nextcloud for everything else. I did use Nextcloud for my dev code as well, but found it got hung up with some dot files and there was another file it used to trip over. It was also slower in syncing I found - but that may have been older versions. But for sharing documents, files with outside folks - giving them a password protected expirying link is useful - except some people dont know how to use it :( ....лоеп --- SBBSecho 3.15-Linux * Origin: I'm playing with ANSI+videotex - wanna play too?
