That might be possible, but it's just a workaround.

I don't see the lack of a decent real remote control application as an  
advantage. Too often, some keys don't work correctly in browser stuff  
and it's lacking behind in speed and comfort.

I prefer the VMware Remote Console 100 times over the slow and  
sluggish website for accessing the VM.
And it's even possible to use VMRC with parameters to even connect  
directly to a VM instead of having to open the website to then launch  
VMRC :)
