True, but at least if I move I can keep my static IP (I work for a telco, so moving my IP to another state, or even another country, isn't a big deal).

Yeah, CGN... We're about to roll that for our residential services, but it won't apply to existing customers, and it'll be easy enough to opt-out of.  If only IPv6 had got more traction sooner.
