No, curl only shows the output after it arrives - but normally it should be quick because its one TCP connection and results in the raw HTML (so no connections to get the images, style sheets, javascript, etc).

Even if I just do a HEAD request, it was slow.

I actually think it might be something with my firewall (but then it should affect my laptop - which is why its confusing). My laptop does it quicker:

On an unrelated note - I've noticed when I copying/pasting from a terminal into Magiterm (ie: the above), it pasted as one long line, not several lines as it is... Not sure if that is fixible?
