I just recently put together my first thing with a Raspberry Pi (a music synthesizer with a kit from a group called Zynthian).  I think it's pretty cool what you can do with a Raspberry Pi - There seems to be a good following for them now, with people & groups making custom cases & accessories for the Pi.

I already know what I want to do next for a Pi-based project - There's a kit made by Retroflag for a handheld retro game console, which uses a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4:

The Compute Module 4 is sold separately though, and it seems it's currently sold out everywhere and hard to find (probably due to the recent computer chip shortages), so I'm having to wait.
