You really do have to experience this in order to truly understand how exhausting and heartbreaking it is to see your loved ones stolen away piece by piece. This appears to be endemic amongst young people these days: a young lady across the road from me also took her life a month or so ago. I didn't particularly know her that well, but it has a surprising effect upon you when someone so young chooses not to be here any more. I have found myself thinking about her on more than one occasion over the past couple of weeks. Heartbreaking.
