Subj : Mystery Dog To : All From : poindexter FORTRAN Date : Mon Jun 06 2022 08:30:00 I finalized the adoption of Sam, our new dog. Looking through the paperwork, I now have no idea how old he is. The SPCA intake paperwork looks like it says he was 12, but that might have been a typo, because they list the assumed birthdate as 5/2020. The sign on his cage said 2. The paperwork for the adoption puts him at 8+, seeing as that gave us a discount on the adoption fee. He's got the beginnings of a gray muzzle and his eyes are a little cloudy, so I'm placing him at 7-8. His teeth are much cleaner than I'd expect for a dog any older than that. He was a found as a stray but is housebroken and walks well on a leash. He may have had his teeth cleaned by his previous owner, but they didn't neuter him or chip him, so I don't think he would have gone in for a teeth cleaning. In the end, it doesn't matter much, we're his for as long as he's got. .... Slow preparation, fast execution --- MultiMail/DOS v0.52 * Origin: realitycheckBBS.org -- information is power. (21:4/122) .
